About The Artist
Nature is my muse. The ocean is my passion. My work explores pattern, texture and color through an intuitive studio practice. I render macro and micro observations of my subject as a single image or as a collective grouping tied together by a common thread. I feel as if I’m stopped in my tracks by a subconscious familiarity that inspires me to create an image of what’s before me. I grew up along the Atlantic coast and now live near the Pacific. I blend my love of science and art through drawings, paintings and illustrations. My hope is to stir curiosity in the viewer to inspire a call to action for the conservation of our oceans. My intention is to share with the viewer my personal space of observation.
